Warranty Statement
Citizen's desktop dot-matrix printers come with a limited 2-year warranty as standard. A full explanation is given in the warranty statement.
The warranty statement is the definitive and official version of Citizen's support for your printer but it can be summarised as follows:
This
warranty statement is issued by Citizen Systems Europe
and covers the European, Middle East and African markets.
It
does not cover countries in North or
South America, Asia or Oceania where a separate warranty
statement is provided. If you need more information on
these regions, contact
us.
The
standard warranty is 'return to base'. On-site warranties
can be provided but are not part of the standard agreement
The warranty starts from date of invoice to the end-user.
The 2-year part covers all parts of the printer including the printhead but excluding consumable items like the ribbons.
Service Information
If you believe your printer has a fault or if you need routine service on your printer, you should in the first case contact the location from where you bought the printer.
If you cannot do this for any reason, or you do not know who supplied the printer, please contact us and we will be able to give you details of your nearest authorised service centre.
