Citizen Systems Europe, the leading manufacturer of label and barcode printers, launched a new range of industrial printers that enable high volumes of labels to be printed quickly, simply and cost effectively.

Capable of printing up to 10 inches per second, the new CL-S700 series has been designed with easy operation in mind from the start. All of the standard operations are accessible from the front of the printer meaning that there is no awkward access to switches or the need to move the printer to load media.

The internal rewinder version of the CL-S700 features the simplest rewinder ever designed, once again being front-loading for ease-of-access.

Front loading also has the benefit of reducing the physical space required for the printer, minimising its footprint on a crowded work surface (e.g. factory work bench) or enabling a high-volume, performance printer to fit in to tight spaces (e.g. ticket desks).  Hi-Open™ metal cases provide easy access and simple media loading, while Hi-Lift™ mechanisms make ribbon loading quick and effortless using ARCP™ technology to eliminate ribbon wrinkle.

As the new printers are designed for use in industrial environments, they feature robust metal casings to avoid accidental damage.  The CL-S700 printers are particularly suitable for use in the warehousing, manufacturing, packaging, pharmaceutical labelling and logistics sectors.

The CL-S700 range will be available in 200 and 300 dpi versions, with Datamax® and Zebra® emulations offering parallel, serial and USB interfaces plus Ethernet and Wireless LAN options providing remote control, configuration and monitoring of each printer.
