Citizen Systems Europe, the leading manufacturer of dot matrix, label and barcode printers, has launched a new version of its
CL-S700 printer with both Zebra® and Datamax® emulations on board for maximum flexibility and easy integration.
The CL-S700 features Cross-Emulation™ which automatically detects the code being sent to it and switches the printer from Datamax to Zebra emulation or vice-versa. This makes the printer fully compatible with ZPL® printers and easy to integrate into an existing application or network.
All the printers in the CL-S700 range have been specially designed for environments where space is limited, with all of the standard operations accessible from the front of the printer. The printer’s innovative features include a Hi-Open™ metal casing, which opens vertically to maintain the compact footprint of the printer. This is ideal where operational workspace is limited as the printer and items around it never need to be moved to access the printer.
Capable of printing up to 10 inches per second, the
CL-S700 features a clear, flat paper path, which increases efficiency and productivity in a diverse range of applications. The Hi-Lift™ mechanism makes media loading quick, simple and efficient, taking just 10 seconds. Ribbon loading is equally effortless with the integral ARCP™ technology eliminating any ribbon wrinkle. This means the time needed to change both media and ribbons is up to 10 times faster than that of competing printers.
The CL-S700 comes with parallel, serial and USB interfaces are standard, while Ethernet and Wireless LAN options can be added in a minute, providing remote control, configuration and monitoring.
