20/04/2009: Citizen Systems Europe expands distribution network with Jarltech |
|
Jarltech Europe GmbH, based in Usingen, Germany, has become an official distributor for the latest barcode, label and POS printers from Citizen Systems Europe.
Both companies are already working together successfully in Austria, via Jarltech’s sister company, Tauris. Their co-operation in Germany was made possible through Jarltech’s acquisition of former Citizen distributor, Data Cash GmbH, in early February.

DataBar symbols (formerly called RSS) are being promoted as a replacement for traditional EAN/UPC bar codes found on virtually all items sold in shops and supermarkets.

The CL-S700 features Cross-Emulation™ which automatically detects the code being sent to it and switches the printer from Datamax to Zebra emulation or vice-versa.
All the printers in the CL-S700 range have been specially designed for environments where space is limited, with all of the standard operations accessible from the front of the printer. The printer’s innovative features include a Hi-Open™ metal casing, which opens vertically to maintain the compact footprint of the printer. This is ideal where operational workspace is limited as the printer and items around it never need to be moved to access the printer.
